Earl Jean McCrea- a key member of The Cookies in early sixties singing alto to Dorothy Jones & Margaret Ross's sopranos. Born N Carolina, moved New York age 2. Older sis is Darlene (Ethel) McCrea. Earl-Jean only had 2 solo releases, done for Gerry Goffin:- Randy / They're Jealous Of Me & her previous 45 I'm Into Something Good. She got fed up with touring & was always nervous on stage so decided to stay home & back in Church as did Darlene. They got back together with Dorothy & Margaret in 1997 at Fordham Uni as guests on WFUV's Group Harmonies Review & talked about their careers. Upload for fair use and educational purposes only.
