This was the second spot in campaign. No one understood it on paper, but my boss trusted me and said, "It probably won't ever run, but go ahead and cut it. We'll see." Glad he trusted me, as it got more laughs and was more talked about than the 'tents' spot. What's great is that whether you knew that Chim Chim was a monkey on Speed Racer was irrelevant. Those who were too young to know Speed Racer just thought 'Chim Chim' sounded funny. So here it is - a bizarre homage to an animated monkey who could drive. Sort of...
