I am fully aware that I have a horrible voice, but I found this helps for me to remember so I thought I would record it so maybe it can help.

The song is Landed by Ben Folds. It is poorly done I know, but I don't really care. If you don't want to use it, don't. If it helps, awesome.

  • We start out with glucose

    Then hexokinase phosphorylates to G6P.

    Then using phospho-

    Glucose isomerase

    G6P goes to

    Fructose 6 phospate

    And PFK phosphorylates

    F6P to F16BP

  • And then aldolase takes F16BP And cleaves it into both Glyceraldehyde 3 P And dihydroxyacetone Phospate that's converted to Glyceraldehyde 3 P By Triosphosphate Isomerase. Now glyceraldehyde 3P dehydrogenase Makes NAD+ oxidize GA3P which Bonds to the enzyme But a phosphate comes And breaks it off Making 1,3bis Phosphoglycerate
  • Then phosphoglycerate kinase Dephosphorylates 1,3 BPG making one ATP And 3 phosphoglycerate Then to 2 phosphoglycerate With the required help of phospho Glycerate mutase And then water removal By an enolase Leaving the molecule Known as phospho-enolpyruvate Then enzyme pyruvate kinase Goes on and dephosporylates To make pyruvate, its over. And I'm talking about glycolysis And the 10 steps that it takes And the net effect it has 2 ATP 2 NADH And 2 3 carbon pyruvates That's the net effect it has
  • I have no idea how to edit the info, so I will post the lyrics in the comments. Sorry if they are out of order.

  • need the lyrics!!

  • Lyrics in the discription would have been even more helpful

  • I'm glad you put in what each enzyme did (ex_ cleaves and phosphoralates) instead of just listing reactants, products and enzymes
