well they dont add sound but can they change the pitch? like make it sound deeper or something? without being louder just sound more masculine?

exhaust tips dont change sound. too many people think they doo the only things that canchange the sound are the muffler,resonator, or the addition of a intake bc stock systems are built to be quiet. you might as well invest in a nice maganaflow or borla muffler and resonator and get piping done at a muffler shop so you spend less than a quarter of the price of a bolt on exhaust system

The local Advance Or Autozone has a nice tip fpr a LOT LESS money! Buy a complete exhaust or buy a tip locally!

Well, look for all the accessories for Scion, the old xb and the xa have the same engine like the Yaris.

dude i got a yaris with an exhaust tip too, but it sounds like an RC car lol. i'm gettin a TRD exhaust, short ram intake, and droppin it an inch or so

quick question... would an exhaust tip by itself change at all the sound or tone of the engine??? or must I change the muffler for that purpose??? thanks!

No, it wouldn't change the sound of the engine. Things like Cold air intakes and short ram intakes would. Tips and mufflers only change the sounds of the exhaust gases leaving the car.

how did u get an exhaust tip to make a different sound, cos alot of ppl say they dont make ne sound difference at all.
