Just letting you guys know, Ivan decided to take a turn at the last minute. Pensacola got the east side of it, which is the worst side of a hurricane. It was last recorded to be a category 2, but that reading was taken long before Ivan made landfall. Ivan ended up breaking the machines, believe it or not. I think it was a 3 or 4. I was there. I lived in the Warrington area, right by the base, and the waterline properties were trashed!

Ivan killed a lot in Cuba it didn't only hit in the US

Ivan reached Cat5 strength 3 times in its life. It was a 4 when it hit the Gulf Cost though.

yes it did i had some family that stayed out at grand lagoon during Ivan luckie they were on a hill when that huge wave Ivan made came in most of the people that got killed were from grand lagoon and west Florida hospital and i live in pensacola and i stayed here through ivan also

i stayed awake... for ivan.. i was at my house... i went outside a couple times.. i seen my friends house blow away... it was the sadest thing iv ever seen luckily they came over to my house and they were safe... it was a 4 when it hit land... its not gona be super dangerous in all areas... you cant say just because you didnt get hit it wasnt a bad hurricane...

Ivan did NOT kill 200 people and FL and it wuz a 4,i actually LIVE in pensacola so i kno for a fact.
