Harvey Mandel, Michael Warren, Michael Borbridge, Mick Martin, & Jose Najera at West Fest, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, 10/25/2009. A Woodstock 40 year anniversary show. Great lineup of bands, and a well run show. I (Stan Erhart) was back-stage/side-stage trying to catch some good shots of my friends. Fun music; fun day.

  • GO AHEAD POPS and HARVEY, MICK, MIKE,and MICHEAL, LIVE .. and I am on the stage filming on the other side...

  • I was there too backstage, onstage, to the left and right, though out front was hard to maneuver. One thing that struck me that day was how fast they moved the musicians on and off-stage. I've never seen anything work all that smooth. Everybody who crewed had their place and for some reason everything worked. I gess after forty the bugs were worked out. But the stage left Jumbotran sure had a lot of kinks in the cable. Harvey Mandell great set!

  • I like the way he does not feel he has to OVERPLAY like lots of others did. He didn't have to prove himself to anybody. Confidence and ability not a poser.

  • What a great show,I was way back in the middle and the sound was good.Harvey was great,so was Starship,Haggerty, ect ect. Montrose just tore it up.

  • Thanks for sharing this vid!!!

  • Sheesh, I saw him backstage and he even said hi Back to me. I dint know who he was. Haven't seen him in so long. He was Great.

  • I was tured on to him when BABY BATTER was his album that every ine knew . I was 8 years old and even then i could hear the style he had over eveyone else of that time .

He has a great creative blues and jazz vibe and is someone i listen to for Ideals in my onw playing .

Harvey thank you for making music so that i could relate to it in so much of a deeper connection than i ever knew .

  • P. S. I saw him later backstage. Sitting by himself, he looked like he was lost in his thoughts. No way was I going to bother him. An a-hole buzzing around is not something I want to be...

  • I was on stage left. One of the chrome domes in the back there. I could pick myself out in a freeze frame. But enough about me, this guy was on fire. I've seen and heard of him before in name only. The best one there of who I saw, imho. I'm def. going to seek his tunes for my web radio playlist,. His band is good and tight as well. Excellent.
