Used to fly that route in my fathers Interstate Cadet in winter (12 in 1956), with Mason City as the half-way stop. Lot of turbulance including forced landings so I could take a pee. Once the field mud was so heavy on the wheels it was a miracle we cleared the tree line. Maybe that's why, besides the genious music I learned dance with, I still feel close to Buddy 50 years later?

Es un buen documental porque los mismos Crickets cuenta su historia.
Buddy sólo tenía 22 años y no sabía lo que iba a pasar esa noche. La avioneta quedó destrozada. Y encima, el mísmisimo cantante de "La Bamba" estaba con él y tuvo el mismo destino.
Aún así, él fue y sigue siendo un gran compositor y cantante.
