They wouldn't do that. It might be a bit confusing.
Maybe something like this:
21 BRIMLEY (3 MINUTES)
TO STEELES AVE VIA SCAR. TOWN
or
25 DON MILLS (2 MINUTES)
TO PAPE STN. VIA DON MILLS
Can't think of a way to put it in without confusing people. Well - good idea anyway.

What's the point of bringing Next streetcar info display screens to a station with no streetcar terminal?
BTW; they should also make a bus version of this, and they should display the fleet number of the next vehicle coming. That way the transit fan would have something to look forward to!
Example:
(At York Mills Station:
Rt. Destination
95 York Mills (etc., etc.)
Next vehicle fleet number: 2017)
