But we do know what it is like to be dead, but most people find the reality very hard to accept, which is understandable, death is a scary concept, but you die, other animals die. You can't last forever, that is the fact of life, so treasure it while it is still yours, try and learn as much as you can and make as many friends as you can, and leave a positive memory behind. That is all we can do, and it is amazing we can do that.

if you're falling down from a good height, you may believe you will die, but be knocked out without any deathly damage, and not have seen an NDE.
NDE's occur when the person not only believes they are going to die- *BUT AFTER THEY ARE SCIENTIFICALLY DEAD- in other words, all of their organs stop working temporarily. Your brain can't conjure up something while it doesn't work.
That's what separates having a dream after blacking out from an NDE.

This is a very interesting phenomenon, but it is quite well understood. It is not seeing heaven or any equivalent, it is a hallucination your brain conjures up when it is under extreme stress (e.g when you are dying). Similar experiences occur when training fighter pilots and astronauts to withstand incredible G-forces, and many report prior to passing out, experiencing visions such as lights at the end of a tunnel.

But we do know what it is like to be dead,
Exactly. We DO know what it's like to be dead. They're near-death experiences, NDE's. The people are scientifically dead for a few minutes- even their brains stop working temporarily, but only temporarily, wait too long and they're gone for good. And the people are revived and most often talk about leaving their body, finding themselves in some sort of tunnel (?) with a light at the end, etc. so yeah, we DO have some proof what it's like to be dead

Martyrs? Good heavens, no. We leave self-negation to the faithful, and instead bask in the majesty of nature as revealed by science.

rowanofrin1 dude you are soo right
Why is there so much editing in the video?
mavaddat 4 years ago
Lengthy pauses without content were cut out to keep the video flowing and to shorten it so that it could fit within 3 videos and YouTube's time limits.

Science is only theoretical! Why dont you mention that!!
ibelin1 5 years ago
Because it is a meaningless notion that reveals that you don't know what "theoretical" means. Gravity is a theory. So lets use the Bible instead of the THEORY of Gravity when we design airplanes.
