Wow, on that second last bit where the main theme came back, the orchestra went way too fast. Sounded pretty sloppy in places. Lucky this dude's so good on piano, it felt he he has his pace, but was forced to speed up and he did well.

Actually, most of the soloists (clarinet, trumpet, horns) are already established musicians, several of them have already completed studies at the academy. For a non professional Gymnasium orchestra it would likely be impossible to perform at this level displayed here.
Marjan, this is the first time I have seen you as a pianist. Solid skills!

Marjan Peternel - that was a wonderful and sensitive interpretation, and not too fast.
Nejc Bečan, Primož Zevnik, and the band: the horns got raucous and barky exactly where they should have, and the rest of the band sounded great. My compliments to you all.
This piece evokes thoughts of a particular time and place for me, but it belongs to the whole world now. As you've proven.
