The last text message i got from my brother was December 21,2011and it read "I'll be leaving soon I love you take care of yourself" and when i read the the words I'll be leaving soon i was already bawling my eyes out, but yet i still wait every day waiting for his text or even a message on facebook just waiting for him to say sis im coming home but it never happens im lucky if i ger a 5 minute conversation on facebook i miss and love you im proud of you big bro love and miss you alot

Isn t just about military,u can see this song also as two brothers or brother n sister,and one of them get married or gone to another country. Also there are some people that have been lost there brothers or sisters because of illness or some accident... SOOOOO sad...

This song is amazing. My brother just joined the military and left me here with a broken family. An alcohlic father who suffers with PTSD and a selfless mother who tries her best to keep herself together. It may sound selfish of me to want him back. Just to have those laughs again, to go for walks and have the rare feeling of being happy. I'm proud of him though, he's living his dream and he will make it big someday. I miss and love my brother very much. I know he will come back someday.

I cry everytime i hear this song! My brother is a United States Marine and I am proud of him! I pray every night that God keeps him safe deployed or not. He is my world and best friend, Im grateful for everyday I have with him. OORAH!
