Retiring sailor Peter Gilmour has beaten his son David in their first ever race at the Monsoon Cup on Thursday.

The event is hosting world-class sailors from around the world, and also giving a platform for young Malaysians to hone their skills.

Al Jazeera's Robin Adams reports from Malaysia.
