This is the teaser for my next film Haiku which is a documentary following the experiences of the Slovak theatre group, Divadlo Bez Domova (Theatre With No Home) over a period of 18 months in the years 2009 - 2010 as they perform a play based on Japanese culture using the poetry form of Haiku from the famous Japanese Haiku masters Matsuo Basho (松尾 芭蕉), Kobayashi Issa (小林茶), Taneda Santoka (種田山頭火) and Yosa Buson (与謝 蕪村). The members of the theatre are homeless, living in a very difficult social situation, mentally or physically disabled and the theatre is a space for self expression and personal development, it promotes a culture of tolerance, acceptance and inclusion. Ultimately it gives these people a chance to do something they normally do not have the opportunity to do.
