  • What wheel arrangement does this engine have?

  • @bradstrains It is 2-6-2.

  • Does it have magne traction and a pullmor motor? (Open frame motor)

  • @bradstrains Neither. It is a pre-war 1938 engine.

  • @m7hacke oh. Then what type of motor does it have? and if it doesn't have magne traction or traction tires how can it start this much train?

  • @bradstrains I have no idea what type of motor it has. The engine was built like a tank and weighs about as much as one too. That's how it has so much traction and torque. They just don't build them like they used too.

  • @m7hacke well that would be true until about 5 years ago when they started to build trains right again. There is this lionel es44 die-cast metal diesel that weighs in at about 14lbs. And now every companys high end stuff has 100 % metal steam engines and 100% metal diesel undersides. But those are high end products that cost to much I assume that engine came in a set.

  • @crime860 My longest now is actually 60 cars. This video is an old one.

  • the longest is 154 carts that just is a pees of poop

  • @m7hacke thay were well made back them keep them clean & lubed there run forever
