It was Paul and George playing the dual lead guitars in harmony. The question I have is who wrote the guitar lines? For all we know, it could have been George Martin. Paul's contribution to this song with regards to guitar, bass, and vocals is substantial.

Probably my favorite Beatles song.

On Revolver, Lennon does the best work: "I'm Only Sleeping," "She Said She Said," "And Your Bird Can Sing," "Doctor Robert," & "Tomorrow Never Knows." Compare that with Paul's contributions: "Eleanor Rigby," "Here, There, & Everywhere," "Good Day Sunshine," "For No One," & "Got 2 Get You Into My Life." It's no contest really-- both John & Paul were geniuses, but John's compositions were an another level. George contributed "Taxman," "Love You To," & "I Want 2 Tell You"-- he's no slouch either.

@ChrizzSudaka and what about "Flying", "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown), and "Blue Jay Way"? ;)

We Yanks didn't know what we had with this album (Revolver).
Of course we Yanks didn't have this one (And Your Bird Can Sing). (It may have been on Capitol's Beatles VI.)
Mostly remember it from the Boy's cartoon show, for which it was the theme.
Love the double leads, which I understand are by Paul and George.

The Beatles' best "go fuck yourself" song.
(they just didn't have it in them to REALLY hurt someone)
