This will allow you to bypass 1604, 1603, 1602, 1601, 1600 along with other 16xx errors during a (custom) restore in iTunes.

Steps:

1. Download iReb herehttp://is.gd/Ui9XEM (PC only, mac users will have to borrow a PC or use a virtual machine)

2. Extract iReb to your desktop (if you don't have a program for extracting files, use http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)

3. If your on Windows Vista or 7 then right click and go to compatibility, then select run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (service pack 2), check off run as administrator and hit apply

4. Run iReb and select your iDevice

5. Follow the on screen instructions for entering DFU mode

6. When you get the message I got in the video you can open iTunes

7a. Hold down Shift + Left click the restore button and browse for your firmware -- PC users

7b. Hold down Alt + Left click the restore button and browse for your firmware -- Mac users

8. Enjoy your error free restore and let me know how it went!

**NOTE** In order for this to work properly, you might have to turn off your anti-virus software -- most pick it up as a threat (don't worry, it's not)
