The Germans have always designed excellent armored vehicles. Most US designs, such as the Abrams, are heavily inspired by German tanks. That's not to say that there wasn't a lot of ingenuity and intelligence by American engineers, but the basic designs are undoubtedly derived from German tanks. I do prefer the 2A6M to the Abrams when it comes to specs and performance, but I still think that the Abrams looks sexier.

BTW the Soviets became masters of blitzkrieg during WW2 very hard lessons.

Punch a hole through the enemy front line and exploit to in order to encircle the enemy formation.Who would have won? I think the Soviets but we had nukes so in the end everyone would lose.

lol what i find funny is that the NATO never learned anything from WW2 when it comes to armored warfare. It's not the thick big fat beasts it;'s the number.

We have 170 Leopard 2A6 HEL tanks in Greece and that's....cool.And about 183 Leopard 2A4s and 501 Leopard 1A5.The Leopard 2A6 though is the knight in shining armor,who will charge and smash the enemy waves as the other tanks follow.

Been tested the 2A6 is better than the M1 Abrams. Faster, more precise etc.

And you know what? It all depends on the crew.

I am commanding a 2A6 as my Job (not as fun ofc) it's damn badass. Even a small tank could take out a big one. It all depends on the crew. If the crew of the big tank is to stupid to hit the small one... Well, owned.
