Master of Puppets Live Moscow 1991

As a part of the Monsters of Rock tour, Metallica performs a free concert in Moscow at the Tushino Airfield, before a crowd estimated between 750,000 and 1.6 million people. Legend has it that the the President of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev personally invited the band to play at the concert. The concert features also AC/DC and Pantera. More than 1,000 militiamen are on guard around the stage, and more are hidden in trucks parked further away. Their violent methods of controlling crowds leave 53 people injured.

@JONThe1966 Lars isnt anything like Gene Simmons. are you basing your facts on Napster, well during the whole Napster thing, Lars said "We'd give away all our shit for free, but we'll decide where, when, and how" which i 100% agree with. Other than Napster I havent heard one thing about money come out of Lars's mouth. And Napster wasnt just Lars, he just acted as a spokesperson for Metallica because James was going through a divorce and was a drunk. What if Kirk was up there?
