Beating Votebots

Vote bots are just another form of censorship. Rating videos lower to prevent their being featured and seen by more people. This is my (RUSHED) attempt to get some ideas going as to how to combat the cowards who use them.

I do not expect my ideas to be adopted wholesale or even in part but hopefully it will prompt someone to come up with a decent plan of action.

its because of the way these evolutionists videos are portrayed, they basically say that religeon is 1 big lie and make fun of it sometimes, granted most of it is a lie, but most of the time u bring these vote bots on urself, by not being considerate of other peoples views and faiths.

These 'evolutionists' videos. hmm... I will try and break down how wrong your statements are.

Firstly not all of the videos hit are 'evolutionist' videos.

Secondly no matter the content of a video the system is meant to be one person one vote. To invoke bots as a natural method of objection is ridicules. This is censorship plain and simple. As the ratings control how the video is displayed on the site. LOW rating Harder to find. If viewers don't like a video, 1* once, respond or turn off.

you plainly didnt read my comment properly, im not saying that these people are justified, it is a cowardly thing to do and i feel the same way you do about them, however when people who believe very strongly about w/e it is, it doesnt help when their views are slated and called lies, all im saying is that i understand their motives

Why can't youtube control these bots? Does youtube care? I hate cheating, and this is cheating. Are the Christians really responsible for this, or is it muslims? It seems to me like a muslim tactic.

Well, if you want to stop votebot attacks a program has come out that works as long as your computer is on.. Once you have it on, votebots will be caught and stopped. So, no need to worry about these losers again.

Last weekend they attacked my channel, all videos (over 100) got 50 one star ratings within a few hours. It was damn strange to see that there were new videos with 32 views but 56 ratings.

Well, sure it pisses me off, but then again it's like "wow, cool, they don't like me and feel threatened by what I say!"
