hey, this is pretty good! for just guitar VERY nice. I would say you should shorten up the parts a bit since it's just guitar, but you did a good job. This sounds like it would be PERFECT with another guitar/bass and some drums. I like it. How long have you been playing guitar? :D

@theapc Best reverb pedal ever, is the strymon bluesky reverb by a long shot..
-
@theapc get boss digital reverb, this is a must also as boss digital delay =) mono is using them, sound was just outstanding..
man you have nice fantasy =)) if I could jam with my self like that.. my fantasy in postrock is more slower =(

I think that what some others have said is true; some of the parts are too disjointed. I would recommend drawing out parts for long periods of time, slowly developing the riff over a long time, and when jarring changes occur in the music, lower your volume a tad between the parts; exaggerated dynamics are good. Other then that, I rather enjoyed it. Keep doin' what you do. Oh, and a nice reverb and/or delay might help too.

The beginning sounds a bit like the guitar on "The End" by The Doors.

I like how modest the description is. haha.
Good job.

interesting stuff...
a bit too long and the separate parts are too separate indeed (difficult to see it as a whole)... if you wanna keep it just guitar I'd try to make it shorter... if you wanna keep it this long I'd try and put some bass and drums to make it more diverse...
that said, the recording would probably benefit from better mixing...
overall is a good try, and if I were you I'd keep on trying...

the picking sound is too loud
u need a better reverb,dude
very nice piece of music, appreciate that

very very good man. i've been listening to this genre my entire life and yet i still can't play anything even remotely good :) great job man, keep it up!
not enough delay on the tremolo, the rest is pretty good. also needs a bit of reverb

thanks! reverb I definitely need (the reverb on my amp is way too buzzy), I'm thinking of getting a reverb pedal in a while.

i fail to hear the post rock in it not atmospheric enough to much just someone messing on a guitar instead of repeated ideas that are pushed foward

well that doesn't make it not post-rock... nor does it not being atmostpheric enough... but then again I don't really care if it's post rock, after all what partially defines the genre to me is how unspecific it is :P. Thanks for the comment anyways though, I appreciate someone who can criticize without insulting me.

that sound is tremolo picking through delay. Play around with the delay time until you get it just right, I usually leave the feedback somewhere around 50-75% for that sound.

Really nice effects...maybe try to find some more powerful themes to stick to (and a drummer). At about 7:30...I felt like I was on another world. Nice ending theme at 8:50. It'd be cool if I could see you play, I love post rock more than any other genre, but can never get the style right.
