That's amazing ! How did you extract the models ? what kind of file is it ?

There is a writeup of the .3do format used by the game (google "MODL format") which I used to write a python script which would extract the useful information and rebuild the model within Blender 3d, giving a .blend file. It's not perfect, but good enough as far as extracting the models and rendering them like this.
