Matthew Dorrien is a 25-year-old, Long Island born, singer songwriter, raised in Valencia, California, who writes and performs music from his heart. With melodies that drift like snowflakes through winter pines, and words that cut straight to your soul with simple poetic loveliness, Matt's music reveals nothing less than the work of a present day bard. And not surprisingly with a list of inspirers that include The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Paul Simon, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and the writings of Robert Frost. Matthew Dorrien performs regularly in New York, where he presently resides, and tours the U.S., often playing songwriter festivals and showcases. He has just recently returned from Nashville where he was invited to perform at the 2008 Nashville Songwriter's Festival. Matt is currently recording a new record that will be released by the end of this year. For more, go to www.myspace.com/missingmanchester. Magnifique!

This fine young man has a fantastic career in front of him. His honesty and artistic expression touched me deeply during a live performance recently. He's also a skillful songwriter who plays guitar so beautifully - and that voice...I can't get enough of Matt Dorrien!
