@646t00er What is this "book of fears" you speak of? I cannot find such a book which he illustrated.

@Simphany ahhaah I thought alike, seeing him smiling at us. I guess since it is a "promotional video", he needs to shows off his RISD prestige. But I love his work and for a short vid, it has very inspiring info.

The Spielberg of childrens' books. In other words, the master of the artificial, the plastic, the homogenized, the carefully calculated sentimental lowbrow patina that is acceptable to mass culture.

Cheers, Chris. Great to hear your words of wisdom resonate again even 27 years since "Design Your Own Country". Great illustration class in 1982. Great memories of RISD.

I always refer to your "teachings"...and cameo paper.
I remember your illustrated "book of fears."
