Walking with Dinosaurs, 19 September 2009, Verizon Center

These are photographs I took of the "Walking with Dinosaurs" show that was held at the Verizon Center last weekend. The large dinosaurs amount to fairly sophisticated "floats" and the small dinosaurs are people wearing costumes. By and large, it was pretty entertaining although occasionally a bit hokey.

I used my Canon EOS 5D Mark II SLR with a Canon L-series 24-105mm short zoom lens and a Canon L-series 17-40mm wide angle lens. I touched up the pictures using Adobe Lightroom 2.3 and further refined them in Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (using the Noiseware 2.0 Standard standalone application to knock down the noise from shooting at high ISOs).
