Darfur is Dying - Student documentary

The Students of Grade 7 are reading the book 'To kill a Mocking Bird' and through it exploring the word PREJUDICE and all its implications... This inquiry lead to discussions about Adolf Hitler and how his prejudice against Jews causing the historical Holocaust! The next step in the inquiry was understanding the word GENOCIDE... As students were multi-sourcing for information on this word they came across a news article on the present situation in Darfur, (Sudan, Africa)

As they gained more information about this existing atrocity they decided to take action and have taken the following steps to spread awareness:
1.Designed a website
2. Start a email campaign
3. Made a street play
4. Wrote a shoe tale
5.Came LIVE on MY FM 94.3 to spread awareness about the situation in Darfur
