"This brings up the topic of actually getting students to participate in the process. This has been an area where ASI has been particularly weak. Members of the organization itself will admit this.
This is not to say that ASI has not been trying. However, random outreach such as various meetings where free food and T-shirts have been offered to entice students to come were a failure. Obviously, ASI cannot keep trying this and expect different results."
