I remember watching Linda Gialanella doing the weather forecasts on WNEW Channel 5 during the 1970's. What a beautiful and classy lady she is.

I remember watching cute Linda back then as a young teen...Very talented... I was very shocked how fast she was able to draw back then....
This Newsman "John Something" I think is still on channell 5 here in New York. Back about 2003 He and his cute wife walked in front of my car (stopped at a light) on NYC's upper East side. He realized I recognized him and was looking at him and he got an insane, nutty, violent look on his face...
He's kind of nuts...

LInda Gialanella used to be at Channel 3 here in Philadelphia. She was let go not long after Jerry Penacoli. Her contract wasn't renewed.

heh, funny thing I'm living in the city Linda G. worked for the latest: Tampa Bay.
Yes, you read right, she last worked for the Bay Area's ABC Action News (WFTS-28, Tampa, FL), and those drawings of hers MADE the forecasts worth watching!
Pity she got laid off, almost exactly a year ago... x.x

I never thought I would ever see Linda G. again! Thank goodness for YouTube!!! I was SOOOO in love with her when I was in high school : ). Channel 5 had a great news team in the '70s,with Bill Mazer on sports, John Roland as anchor, Stuart Klein as film critic, Judy Licht as reporter, Bill McCreary and Marian Etoile Watson on Black News every Sat. nite, and of course lovely Linda G. who could thaw the biggest winter chill!! Those were the good ole days!!

Linda is now doing the weather on a TV station in Tampa, Florida and she still draws pictures!
