Mortal Kombat on Marimba

Alright..this is really getting annoying.
This was filmed like 07-08 when I was still in high school,
Me and my buddy evan (who were actual perccusionists) made this vid for the fun of it. Not trying to be the best out there guys. Yes it puts mallet technique to shame, OK I GET IT, That was kind of the point, to make a comedic band geek video. Not to impress youtube users. It is a Musser MARIMBA, syntehtic wood used with rubber mallets. So before you leave a comment showing how much more badass you think you are, remember all the times youve ever dinked around on the keys. Maybe then youll be more forgiving and understand, noone is pro ALL the effin time.

you guys both have horrific technique, and ever heard of a metronome? that was outrageously out of time.. but other than that, sounds cool and continue, get it in time w/ right notes and it'll be great!

lol I love how people are complaining about technique (can't say as I only play piano) and timing (which I saw nothing wrong with, actually), when quite simply, as most band geeks (or choir in my case) know, it's about having FUN! I think it's beautifully done! And you won't fail at life *rolls eyes* If anything, those people will with that type of mentality!
