  • I am all for respect from doctors, but remember that people get sectioned for particular reasons.

I hear voices, I have had a voluntary admission and I have seen my partner on a unit too and unfortunately some people who are so paranoid and delusional have no control over their decisions.

If you do not have a capacity to acknowledge what is going on then a decision has to be made on your behalf either from family or a group of docs.

Not many people actually get injected in their sleep though.

  • @VoiceOnVoices

I agree with you that sometimes people are so paranoid and delusional that they cannot make the best decision for themselves. When other people have to make a decision for someone, there is still a right way and a wrong way to talk to someone.

  • THANK YOU!!! Dear God, sometimes I'd always wonder if the doctors were just retarded! You don't just grab the patient and strain them into that jacket. They'll never trust you. Hell you just might make them more paranoid. I'm so glad I found someone with common sense...

  • Thank you for your kind words. It made my day :)

  • I am not arguing that, of course doctors should treat patients like human beings but you need to realise that a lot of psychiatrists in particular have a GOD complex going on.

They think they are better then you so why would they treat you like an equal??

Doctors like to intimidate their patients as it gives them more control, which they love having.

I think that the worst culprits for not understanding mental illness though are the A&E doctors and nurses, the stories I could tell!

  • They say microwave frequency cuts right through the brain like butter, is that why so many people are having melt downs?

  • I love your accent, it's very calming!

  • It is just common sense. But not everyone has common sense and many or not properly trained or motivated..

P.S. The background music is annoying.

  • woh wtf. weird voice.

  • are u reading a script?
