WYD 2008 - Latin-American party

A Catholic celebration has to be universal, so World Youth Day is including as many cultures as possible in order to build a sense of community.

"So many people and many cultures, especially Latin-American people. It's amazing, and you can see the dances and everything, is really good. It's a really good experience and the unity is amazing".

"I've seen the spirit come alive in our young people. I'm watching their fire blossom through our dioceses, through our youth groups and look forward to having you be a part of Sydney in a Catholic faith in a great way".
