In most of the test footage I've seen from this camcorder, the colours look really washed-out compared to Canon's HD camcorders.

best buy had it on sale ones for 1100$ i think, i know brick holds it down for 1100ish or even less, its not on there site, but u should go to brick and ask them, sears does the same, bay also brings the price down alot. When we think of electronics we often go to best buy FS, etc. but try these stores out also.....Take my advice its gna drop even more this holiday, if anything wait then! or for 649.99 in FS get the HDC-TM20 Panasonic, it uses a better lense then this sony model
