When he said "Dick Fisher" I burst out laughing xD
-
this is sad
Useless stuff like new vid from some "popular" artist gets millions of views A DAY and stuff that REALLY MATTERS get only 25k in 2 WEEKS
What is humanity coming to?
Watch the starting or "Idiocracy" movie to find out -_-

now (21.55 gmt) I watched the sun via satellite sterreo.
A lot of interesting events on the sun at this time.

YA ESTAMOS FRITOS. NADA DE PROTESTAS. QUE NOS DIGAN EN QUE FORMA NOS AFECTARÍA SUSTANCIALMENTE ESTA ACTIVIDAD SOLAR. CUALES SERÍAN LAS MEDIDAS QUE TENDRÍAMOS QUE TOMAR PARA QUE NO AFECTE NUESTRA SALUD?.

Isn't there a way to create a magnetic field big enough on the surfas of earth to fill the hole that's in the earths field ??? There for protecting us from a massive solar storm
-
@IbizanHound2 Why should they announce something we can do nothing about?
-
We seem to survive by mere chance : either asteroids threatening to kill us or our sun trying to burn us alive or to send its flares to our magnetic field thus we have earthquakes and tsunamis! lets pray that earth find another gentle sun! LOL
-
is it so dangerous?can someone explain me it?
-
scary :(

@Tilekist Are you saying that high speed particles with mass affect Earth magnetic field while electromagnetic wave does not? You know, the magnetic field protect earth from electromagnetic waves like UV and so on. With other words, the magnetic field interact with electromagnetic waves witch means that it probably affect the field in one way or another.
If authorities ever announce that solar flare is about to fry us all,
I want the narrator of this video to announce it.
His soothing voice will make it look like as an exciting & magnificent natural event that unfortunately has the side-effect of eradicating all living things!

@FUNNYTOM10 it takes about 8 minutes for "rays" a.k.a. electromagnetic wave to travel to earth, not 6 minutes. particles will not travel at the speed of light (quite a bit slower in fact) so my guess is that it would take quite some for them to get to the earth.
