Maybe I'm missing something here, but with Frank and his friends in the stairwell and Fallon's gang out in the hallway, why didn't Frank and the rest go DOWN the stairs instead of up? I know the woman said the roof was the only chance they had, but it only seems logical to me that the stairwell would lead all the way to the ground floor. (unless it was the only stairwell in the building and they were afraid of being intercepted.)
