I remember hating Duke back then because I saw him as an obsticle between Robert and Anna getting back together.But boy was he very handsome (the original Duke played by Ian Buchanan not the replacement Duke. But Duke was always angry and broody most of the time.

@csulastd89 Robin called Robert 'Robbie' before she knew he was her father, and this was just several months before this episode. So it's quite natural for her to have a Fruadian slip once in a while.

She probably didn't want to break her surprise. I think Duke pretty much had it figured out when he saw Robin holding hands with this man and he was Australian you could tell from his facial expressions.

I didn't notice that before her saying "are you surprised Robbie?"
There could be 2 reasons.
1. Robin did it on purpose not to break her so called surprise by calling him Daddy in front of Duke.
2. At this point Robin had probably referred to him as "Robbie" more time then she had called him "Daddy"

Robin is a stinker doing that set up. They certainly aren't showing her as an angel but she is close to acting as a very normal child. Kim was a natural in this role!
