The latch on top is a locking rentention too. If it's the safariland holster i'm thinking of. It's like the Blackhawk serpa but it's actuated by your thumb vs. trigger finger.

Prob the first person I've seen on YouTube wearing that holster in the correct position. Every other vid I see the guy has it down by his knees which is incorrect!

This is the 6004 if I'm not mistaken? I absolutely love this holster. I have a TLR-1 on my Glock and would recommend this. Even though it is a level II, I would suggest the II+ with the hood.

People use a retention cord, so that if they get overexcited and drop their pistol when they holster it in the heat of things, they won't lose it. You can also use it in every day carry to prevent people from lifting your piece.

First time I see that holster worn the correct way. Most dudes wear it by their knee like an old west gun slinger.

Perhaps you should check yourself..
When / where did we claim this was a "how to quick draw" video ??
We were talking about various methods, and he was describing a guy with short thumbs who was in a class with him recently and how he managed to do the draw in two steps.. It's possible that is what you saw
