Fall is one of my favorite season ,a season of magical colors showered with a touch of sweet melancholy
a sign of mother nature getting ready for her long rest.
And it's during one of my walks along the lake on a wonderful autumn day I got inspired to write this little poem
"Lost In The Moment"


Lost In The Moment

Beauty touched me again this morning
in the stillness by the lake
Fall is here with all her colors
painting nature in many ways

Gold and brown is a mantle worn
throughout this season to mark her way
and the lake a picture of beauty
misty water a grand display

A lonely seagull far in the distance
sailing oblivious of everything there
embraced by serenity and magical beauty
I am lost in the moment with nothing to say

In the midst of peaceful feelings
you are making yourself known
wordlessly gently
this Fall golden morning
your love is a treasure to feel and to hold

What a beautiful place! The golden rod is gorgeous. I'm seeing monarchs now too. Fall is definily a favorite of mine as well.:) LOVELY IMAGES!!
