A clip from the beautiful documentary on Andy Goldsworthy, "Rivers and Tides". If you enjoy this clip, please support his work by purchasing the dvd. In this clip he builds a sculpture out of driftwood and watches as the tide takes it out to sea. This is a good example of his wonderful work with time.

it may help to know that this particular piece of visual art was created on the Bay of Fundy (which has the world's highest tides). The tides normally portrayed in a rushing/gushing way. I live there and found this elegant sequence stunningly refreshing and absolutely breathtaking....
He is not looking for anything, he just lives in the present like his work... here it is and then it is gone... Transformation is unavoidable! enjoy it while you can! Peace From another crazy hippie!
