ここに来い(kokoNIkoi) [COME HERE!!!! aka GET THE F*** OVER HERE!!!!!] hahaha i remember when i said this to one of my japanese professors when they asked me how do you say, 'come here' in Japanese? the proper way to say it would be 来て下さい(kiteKudasai) [Please come here].

I think because that's how you gesture to a dog.....Pretty sure, but don't quote me on it..

I guess you could ask the game of hand gestures in America: why don't people gesture like Koichi does, with his hands tilted town? It's just how people normally do it.
