Also I just bought a couple of new shot guns, ammo, non perishable goods, knives, water, and bicycle. Remember the US has only 3 day supply of gas at any one time. I was and somewhat still the oil business and that is a very little known fact.

Nice video Mike! I am in the same boat as you. I have been buying gold and silver for a while and since I have been self employed my whole life, I am more of a barracuda.
When you guy the gold jewelry, do you factor in the quality of any stones in the price or are you just buying the weight and purity of the gold?

wasn't sure if you were already aware of this but some older gold coins are worth more money numistically and to collector, if they are in good condition, than bullion value.

Very well done and inspiring! Like you I'm trying to unlearn everything I learned in over 20 years of schooling as well; boy what an awakening! (Good to know I'm not alone:-) I feel the same way you do about "work" that is required of us (sitting in a cubicle for a lifetime) and I'm working on breaking free from the system once and for all.
