i agree i live in perth and if you go into 30m of water you catch heaps in about 15 mins we caught 7! i caught 1 that was the same size as my 30 cm lure i caught it on it bit a lure a whiting!!!... oh and did the bird eat that whiting?lol

yea mate mostly water deeper than 10 meters where we catch the whiting

i fish in WA for whiting and king george....not far from the coast in a special little spot we got our limit with 4 people in a few hours

i caught a whiting i thing about 35 to 38 cm and i was happy i caught it with a bait caster reel and 6-8kg line

I fish in port Phillip bay and they get up to bout 42 cm but geez I would love to get over to robe and get some thumpers many great times catching these fish over the past 9 or so yrs
