Dick Van Dyke Show cast for Kent Cigarettes (Top 10)

For comedy writers, Rob and Buddy sure had a lotta time on their hands?!? They must have had a fantastic show script ready to go, because here they are, standing around and stacking a pack of Kent on top of a pile of no-name cigarettes!! Were they still on the clock, or taking a 'cigarette break'??!! OK, we already know the cast loves to smoke Kent, but where did they get all those other packs of generic, off-brand cigarettes from, and why?!?

Advertising can leave so many unanswered questions. I still wonder where the yellow went when I brushed my teeth with Pepsodent?!?...

This "integrated commercial" was seen at the end of several episodes during the 1964-'65 season. Because Lorillard Tobacco [Kent] was an alternate sponsor, the cast appeared in these commercials during the show...and free cartons of Kent were given to Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore as a courtesy (they often traded their cartons at a local store for their own preferred brand).
