Clip of my 300ZX NA with an intake and headers. I have not reattached the exhaust system yet so this is purely open headers.

Sounds awesome, but you lose torque w/o the full exhaust attached...You also run the risk of burning some valves....But nice sound ;)

Yes, there was no torque whatsoever in that car as I got on the throttle. As far as burning valves goes, that isn't true for running open headers but is true if I were to remove the headers entirely and let exhaust exit right at the block. I am not currently running this setup and put the full exhaust back on a few hours after taking this video, just wanted to show everyone how it sounds without an exhaust system on.

Stock catback was put on the day after I filmed this. Pretty quiet overall but a great tone from the headers. Free flowing exhaust will be fabbed up within the next months so I'm excited for it.

Are those Stillen headers? Do they make a big difference with the NA?

Those are the AMZ type 2 headers. Same design as Stillen just 1/2 the cost. Were a total bitch to install though.

As far as gains, I've noticed a bit of midrange gain but I still have the stock catback on so once I get that opened up, they should open it up even more.
