  • @goombabear More people have opportunity in the UK nowadays than seen in this 1977 video but the way our and the US economy are going, no one will be able to go to college soon :-)

  • @MrLovethelife Yes! This is what happens when government monopolises the money, introduces fiat currency, continuously hikes taxes and prints money (the inflation tax) and then gives all this money to its supporters (banks and government workers). For us in the working class the effective direct taxation rate is close to 50% (income, VAT, council, fuel, savings, pension etc) while inflation steals what's left. The whole political class are now the enemy of the working class. That is now clear.

  • Tony is sexy

  • Tony seemed the roughest kid at 7 but has managed to be one of the happiest of all of the people in this series. Its funny how he and others have done everything they said they would at 7.

  • @CapitalBhoy78 yea its scary the way its going, social mobility is on the reverse whilst people are working longer for less! the working class continue to be exploited by a minority who, through un democratic means, own by far the majority of the wealth.

  • We have guaranteed student loan programs backed by the US government and we have quite a few free or low-cost educational programs through our community colleges. Here in North Carolina, it is free to attend a community college up until one finishes high school. Some states offer grants to poor students plus there are a wide array of scholarships available by civic agencies. Most large employers will even pay for their employee to go to college. It seems that we have more opportunities.

  • They really seem to be stuck into a particular track in life in the UK, more so than in America. In America, even poor people can go to college. A college education seems to be more of a requirement here in the US.

  • love these
