Dancing with the Stars: Marlee Matlin

I always thought Marlee was hot. She looks better now than when she was on Seinfeld. Awesome woman inside and out!!!

I never knew she was on this show! If I had known, I would have watched it.

must to say .... i am some of agree wit tis comment... like deaf can read the lip...
it true.... for example... i am deaf... and hard of hearing.... i can read their lip and understand what they said unless if they speak so slow then i will understand .. she's best

Well I am deaf. But i do hear through an implant cochlear for me its easier lip reading and trying to hear as well. I am 17 years old and I took signing classes for three years and its not easy for me at all.

I would think cause you can hear, may not be "normal" but you hear so yo can get by with that and lip reading,
I live in austin texas and almost all young adults, teens and kids just sign, there is no implants done. Only older people have those.

I'm not deaf but I'll speak for my deaf friends and say it's far easier to have an interpreter, with lipreading you're always second guessing yourself and trying to keep up but with an interpreter it's just an easy language to understand.

Damn, that interpreter is quick on the words! He signs ONE second behind the speaker! FAST!

Marlee is amazing, and not because she is deaf. She is just very talented
