This woman is so brave. I have no eardrum in one ear and the other will soon be deteriorated. They say there is nothing they can do to rebuild it because the radiation just did a job on them. Soon I will not be able to hear at all. I only hope that through the grace of God i will have half of her strength. As far as her dancing, a lot of it is from the vibration. She's my lady.Such character and beauty from the inside out and from the outside in.

I am a professional deaf dancer and vibration on the floor is hard to feel if you are dance around and jump. It take a lot more than that. I mean shoot it take heart, keeping count and beat, know when to change tempo and etc- so Marlee Matlin kick butt!

@leo8182008 I agree though she could feel the vibrations through the floor I'm sure so it probably isn't as much of a difference as you'd think since the beat is what you dance to anyway.

i admire that women soo much! shes deaf and she cant hear the music shes dancing under yet she dances so on key and good its amazing! i cant even imagin how it must feel but i really adore the fact that she didnt let the fact that she was deaf stop her from reaching goals that in some other cases would be undoable!
