Pros : Hello HD I love the pistol grip

Cons: Battery life bothers me ! Plays a toy like tune when it shuts down as the screen folds in closed

seriously dude, you use the string they gave you and you can't lose the lens cap :P i've had it for a while and it has done a great job protecting the lens. you're right, the microphone placement was a bit too over zealously done, hard to vlog if you don't have a tripod, the audio is crap or you gotta hope you have yourself properly in the shot =/
