That said, I remember Jeremy Parish making a plot outline in an issue of EGM that justified Legends occuring after ZX Advent: apparently, the Biometals made everyone in Elysium "Megamen", which was where Volnutt was from.

Capcom decided to have one character from each series of games where they have characters from. SF, SFII, and SFIII all count as separate series for them.
