I don't see why everyone hates Vriska so much. Sure, at the very beginning she's extremely unlikable, but she's only following the customs of her race. And most of the things she did were for the benefit of others. She even confesses to feeling bad about everything to John, but she needed to keep up her tough exterior to protect her friends. Hell, she even feels bad about killing Tavros even though it was her right by Troll custom to do so. She's a deep character and my favorite in the series.

My friend hates Vriska so much it's not even funny, but she loves Tavros. I love Vriska and I hate Tavros (I find him really annoying -o- )

I think there's a lot more to her character than she puts out. I don't think a lot of people paid attention to it but when she told John she killed Tavros... that entire conversation made me like her, because it showed a soft side to her I never really saw before. XD
Her, Terezi, Karkat, Aradia and Sollux are my favourite trolls. :D
(But yeah, she is a huge bitch sometimes. XD)
