We used same antenna for both K3 RX's and same antenna for 5K RX's. On both radios the RX's are in sync. Due different IFs when using 5K there is a shade /fade effect on speakers, this is not the case with K3 having same twin receivers

  • Daniel, is this phasing effect really important and/or annoying for typical diversity reception ? I have the same with my FT-2K and I don't really think it's neceseraly bad. Why not tuning on an SSB voice mode QSO on 80m for example ? Thanks for demoing to us this wonderful rig. Eric. ON6CV. 73.

  • @MrToonfish Hi, is not annoying, because in most of the cases when I tune around a frequency I use only one receiver, once tuned I try different receivers with different antennas, so is just kind a wishlist if possible to sync delays in further firmware updates.
