FTDX-5000 vs Elecraft K3 in diversity receiving mode

We used same antenna for both K3 RX's and same antenna for 5K RX's. On both radios the RX's are in sync. Due different IFs when using 5K there is a shade /fade effect on speakers, this is not the case with K3 having same twin receivers

Daniel, is this phasing effect really important and/or annoying for typical diversity reception ? I have the same with my FT-2K and I don't really think it's neceseraly bad. Why not tuning on an SSB voice mode QSO on 80m for example ? Thanks for demoing to us this wonderful rig. Eric. ON6CV. 73.

@MrToonfish Hi, is not annoying, because in most of the cases when I tune around a frequency I use only one receiver, once tuned I try different receivers with different antennas, so is just kind a wishlist if possible to sync delays in further firmware updates.

The K3 is " light " radio,

need a counterpoise like a matton inside!
