without trying to sound arrogant and pompous im pretty proud that i can scissor 1.80...
sadly my PB for the flop is about 1.75 =(
I'm 17 and 6'2 if anyone actually cares, which people probably dont...

I did 1.25 for scissor kick when I went to districts. I think that was good cause I was only 12 years old and I was so short! (I was 1.48cm at the time!!) :D

usually your jump should be 30 cm above your scissor if your technique is good.The best jumpers can scissor around 2.10,the biggest scissor kick jump I've seen is on 2 meters

I used to love scissor jumping. I did 4' 3" (1.29m) when I was 11, is that any good? It was the Primary School record at the time in 1978! I've tried it in my forties and can only get to 4' 0" so far but I am riddled with 'old age' injuries so I suppose it's not too sad!

@speedoMK Yes, it's true, he was 17 at the time. It was really amazing! Usually you can get at least another 20cm on top of your scissor kick, but he was just that flexible.
