Aaaah, they shouldn't have deleted this scene - it shows the first steps towards the birth of the Rebel Alliance.

It's not unessasary, those are just side characters that add to those scenes.So we can see the other colorful senators. And the most important names of the Rebellion ( Bail Organa & Mon Motha / Pad'me ) are in mutiple chapters. So I would'nt say it's unessasary. Just part of this movie.

Great scene, but I agree with the director. It was the right choice for this scene to be deleted. If this scene was in the movie, then we only get to see some of them once. That is unnecessary....
